No one can say it better than those who play
- I LOVE these picks! The feel while you are holding them is SO comfortable. The tone is really, REALLY nice and the ease with which you can speed pick(to the extent I can! ) is phenomenal. I'm SOLD! There's no going back! I just put in another order!!!
~Charles
- The V-Pick kicks major butt. I love the tone of it. Adds some girth and clarity both to the struck note for my application, and not so drastic a tone change when hybrid picking. I highly recommend it.
~Big Mike
- I've used the round end of a Tortex and Fender Med for the past 10+ years. I can't stand using a heavy pick much less a monster, the pick is almost half as thick as it is wide!! But, I'll try anything with this many rave reviews.
Just got the thing yesterday. My opinion: V-Picks are worse than crack (from what I've heard about crack). I can't put the thing down! Good night, I love it. Vinni, your web page should have a warning. I'm writing my congressman this morning. These things should be regulated! At the very least, have some class and don't sell 'em to minors.

- I just received the picks and was able to play for about 30 minutes. I've tried so many thick picks that I simply couldn't bond with regardless of how long I played with them. After about five minutes of getting used to them I was able to play the same songs without my hand getting tense. The other huge difference I noticed was the tone I am getting now - talk about a nice, thick tone! I'll never go back to the thin picks again. Now begins the task of cleaning up my picking.
Regards,
~Darren
- These are the real deal for me. I was able to play faster immediately. Seems like for faster/longer runs, my right hand can keep up now. And as someone that hybrid picks a LOT, it sounds more like the natural finger. But faster.
~Mike
- Just got through about 20 minutes of practicing scales (between emails!). It really gives more of a roundness or fullness to notes - like the tone of playing with your fingers but with the dexterity of playing with a regular pick. I am digging it man...
~Jason
- I got my picks in the mail a couple of days ago. I put them through their paces, and I have to say that in my opinion, they do everything that they are advertised as doing. They stay put firmly in between my fingers, they have awesome tone, and they do give a marked improvement in speed to my playing. Well done!
~Anonymous
- Hey man, got the picks! Very cool! Speed is what I immediately noticed and had to take a bit of time to let my brain catch up. After a while it all balanced out and my playing became more precise. Bolder tone as well. This is a really great idea man. All the best,
~Rick
- I've tried thinner hard picks and could never get used to them for rhythm but these work just fine. They sound better than regular picks to me. I worried that with a pick this heavy I'd break strings. That's not going to be a problem. Being clear shouldn't be a problem as far as losing them. The edges pick up or reflect light in such a way that the edges appear illuminated. Can't imagine not being able to find them. And the V-Pick logo is etched into the pick so that won't be wearing off like most logos do and it'll help you to see it, too. Good job! I'll order more.
~Wayne
- Excellent picks. The hype is believable! Thanks,
~Mark
- Just wanted to give a quick V-Pick update. After using a large V-pick for the last month and a half, I decided to pick up my old trusty 73 mm Dunlop large yellow pick and give 'er a whirl. I played with it for a minute and came to this conclusion. It's crap.
Honestly, your pick is awesome. The honeymoon period is long gone and it still kicks. What a killer product.
~Anonymous - I've improved more in the past 2 or 3 years, since finding V-Picks, than I have in the previous 15 years of playing! I definitely feel that way myself, but have also been told that by almost every one of the musicians that I've been playing & performing with since I graduated from college in the mid 80's!
And it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy too! The better you play, the harder you work to play better. The harder you work, the better you play, Etc, etc. I haven't been this inspired to just cut loose and play since I first picked up the instrument when I was 15. I'm 48 now!
Thanks again.
~Roger Mynatt
- These picks are very fast. The material seems to just slide over the strings and is very very smooth. The grip is very nice. My fingers seem to just stick to the pick and don't slide at all. Overall the pick is very comfortable to use. Sound wise single notes remind me more of finger-plucking tone (but still retaining the volume of using a 'normal' pick) than using a conventional pick. Very full and more bass than treble attack. Very nice sounding.

- After I got wind of the picks and saw all of the hype I ordered some even though they seemed silly and overpriced. I got them, tried them, and liked them. But it still seemed silly for them to be so pricey. Then I made a deal with btmish, another member on the board, for his leftover V-Picks. He found his favorite type and wasn't going to use the rest. I've got about ten V-Picks now and after trying so many different kinds I feel I am in error. The pick can do everything I ever wanted to do with a pick. It's like having every different pedal I need on a board, except cheaper. Any tonal color or pick attack I want to achieve can be done with aplomb and with greater ease and accuracy than any other pick I've ever tried. I am so happy with the picks I no longer care about the cost. V-Picks = two thumbs up! I have tasted the Kool-Aid and it tastes good.
~Anonymous - Thank you so much!
The V-Picks arrived yesterday, and I instantly fell in love with the feel and tone I was getting out of them. I'm a wannabe hybrid picker, like Brett Garsed, and these picks really suit well with that kind of style. I'm very anxious to gig and record with these to give them the full workout. But first impressions have been very good.
I'm definitely going to purchase more. I'm sure I will lose these pretty quickly. All the picks you sent me feel great, I can't decide on a favorite yet! Whenever I change regular picks I usually need some time to get used to them. But not with these. They feel instantly natural to my fingers.
~Carlo - Got 'em today. I think you are on to something here. I can't go back to the old Tortex greens & blues I used in the past. Amazing what you can find on TGP & such! Thanks again & keep up the great work.
~Tony
- I have been playing with V-Picks since the first time I saw them. I will try anything that improves my speed and accuracy. In reality, I find them excellent. They feel substantial, and the hardness and angle of attack make me more aware of the accuracy of my pick location and approach. The near frictionless edge doesn't allow hang up, so the note(s) plays cleaner. I find I want to call them an instrument. Calling them a pick doesn't really convey the thought process they carry, or impart. A Fender pick is a piece of plastic used to strike the strings in lieu of fingertips. It doesn't help me improve my playing or approach to playing. The V-Picks I have actually have done this.
The only negative (this is REALLY trivial) is that the thicker picks are hard to keep more than one in my wallet. I am used to having 10 Fenders in there.
I am sad though. I bought 3 and have lost 1, so I a down to 2. Hopefully, Hanukkah Harry will show up with some Geetar Gelt, so I can restock.
~Anonymous - I received my Big Fattie today and "OH MY GOODNESS!!!" the sound that came out my guitar was unbelievable! Being a beginner with just months under my belt upstrokes have been my downfall. BUT NO MORE, the Big Fattie glides up and down the strings with ease.
The current song I am learning is John Lennon's "Working Class Hero" his version not GreenDay's. An the precision with which I can hit the base notes is stunning and they ring out so clearly it is magical. Thank you for making me such a fantastic pick. You have a customer and friend for life.
Sincerely,
~John Mackie - Just got my V-Picks today and I'll make this short and sweet....
These picks just plain, kick ass. Nice and thick, perfectly cambered and they just glide over the strings. Gallops and sweeps are effortless and pinch harmonics are almost automatic. Also, rotate that bad boy and you get the same tip on the triangle, three times. These Picks are excellent...!!
Oh, one more thing, the clear look and the V-Pick inscription are both pushin major mojo...
Thanks,
