Return Terms Outlined / Evaluating Your Purchase
For distant customers returning merchandise purchased online or via phone
World Music Nashville wants you to be happy about your new purchase. We would like to see you as part of our extended musical family. Our products are guaranteed to be as advertised. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you may return it. Below are the guidelines associated with our return policy.
When your purchase arrives, you have a 48 hour approval period to inspect and use your instrument, amp, or other product. If you are not satisfied, you must contact us within this time period. If we do not hear from you, we will assume you are satisfied and the sale is complete. If you decide to return the item during the 48 hour period, we will gladly refund the purchase price once we have inspected the returned item. (Layaways and special orders do not qualify for this 48 hour policy.)
- Returned items MUST be in the orginial condition and packing in order to qualify for a refund.
- The item must be shipped back to us using the same shipping method and carrier we used to ship the item to you.
- Please Note: If returned, all shipping costs, both ways, are to be paid by the customer.We cannot refund freight charges.
- For Exchanges, there are no additional card fees.
- For complete Returns, the following additional fees apply.
__ If you paid by Visa, Mastercard or Discover, we will deduct 3% of the total charge from your refund to cover our card processing expenses.
__ If you paid by American Express, we will deduct 4%.
__ If you paid through PayPal, we will deduct 3%. (We do not combine fees. You will only be charged for one of the preceeding.)
Steps for Returning or Exchanging an Item
Please call us at 1-615-425-0256 for a RETURN AUTHORIZATION (RA) number before sending any items.
- To return an item, the customer first calls World Music Nashville for a return authorization.
- Next, carefully pack up the item in its original carton, with ALL accessories and paper work included.
- Shipped the item back with the same carrier used to ship it to you.
- ALWAYS insure it for the FULL retail amount.
- You are now the responsible party of the package and are taking full responsibility for the item in case of damage or loss. If the item is damaged while in transit, we will notify you, but you must file a claim with the shipper.
- Once the item is back, and we have determined it to be in its original condition,
___ in the case of an EXCHANGE: we will issue a full credit for the item, minus all shipping charges.
___ in the case of an RETURN: we will issue a credit for the item, minus all shipping charges, applicable credit card or paypal fees, and a 10% restocking fee, (20% for amps and pedals).
* Returns or exchanges will not be accepted on items which are: layaways, special orders, discontinued products, close-outs, and used products. These are final sales.
Non-Returnable Items
Non-returnable items include: mouthpieces, recorders, harmonicas, reeds, microphones and kazoos. Software, videos, cassettes, CDs, DAT tapes and music books must be returned in the original sealed condition. Defective media may be returned in exchange for the same item. There are no refunds on used items, closeout items, and EBay auction items.
If Damaged During Shipping
We carefully check the conditions of all items before shipping. Damage in transit is uncommon, but if the shipping box looks damaged, do not accept it until the delivery person has indicated damage on the proper form(s). Damage to the exterior of a box does not necessarily indicate the item within is damaged.
If your package or item is damaged, do not send it back without notifying us. Follow the "STEPS for RETURNING An ITEM" above. If any step is altered, we may not be able to issue a refund to you. Once the package is returned to us and we determine that damage in shipping has occurred, we will issue a full item refund or we will get another piece to you as soon as possible. We will take good care of you.
Re-stocking Returned Items
*** This does not apply to exchanges.
Amplifiers - A 20% Restocking fee will be charged for returned amplifiers.
This does not apply to defective units. They will be repaired or replaced with the same model.
We cannot warranty the "tone" of the amp. Specifications, speakers, etc. often change without notice. The amp you heard in one room, may not sound exactly the same when you try the same amp in your room. We prefer not to ship an amplifier unless the buyer knows he wants to keep it. The amps have a much greater chance of being damaged during shipment than any other product. Please research your choice.
Pedals - A 20% Restocking fee will be charged for returned pedals.
This does not apply to defective units. They will be repaired or replaced with the same model.
Customers return pedals because "it didn't sound the way I thought it would", even though they never played or heard one before. We prefer to not ship a pedal unless the buyer knows he wants to keep it. The returned pedals are never "new" again, and we do not wish to sell "demo" quality pedals. We cannot warranty the "tone" of the pedal. Manufacturer specifications and tone can change without notice.
All other Products - 10%

Detailed Terms
* Any item returned without a Return Authorization Number provided by a World Music Nashville associate will be refused.
* A return voids any free shipping offers and the customer is liable for shipping charges both ways.
* Return arrangements must be made within 48 hours of receipt.
* All refunds will be less shipping costs both ways and applicable credit card or paypal fees.
* You may use your refund for full store credit.
* If you choose a refund there will be a 10% re-stocking fee on all products, except amplifiers and pedals which require a 20% re-stockinfg fee.
* The returning item must be shipped back in the same manner and by the same carrier from which it was received.
* All returns must be insured for the full amount of the purchase price.
* If there is any damage to the item due to insufficient packing the return will be refused and no refund will be issued.
* The returned item must show no signs of wear or use.
* We will not accept a return if the item has been modified in any way.
* Returned items must be complete and in the original condition, with original packaging, plus all accessories and complete documentation (owner’s manual, blank warranty card, hang tags, etc.).
* In the event that the product is not in the same condition as you received it, or is returned after the normal evaluation period has expired, you may be subject to a extra restocking fees, repair charges or disqualification at our discretion.
* There will be no exceptions to any of the above.
