Truetone Clean Boost (Used)

Truetone Clean Boost is the Perfect way to push the front end of your tube amp. Then again, it’s also a great way to push a good overdrive pedal a bit harder. If you like the tone you already have from another pedal, just put Truetone after that pedal for a volume boost… great for a solo boost or to make a certain part stand out. Punch in and punch out without affecting your tone.
The Truetone can get up to a 15dB boost, completely clean. So, if you’re looking for a true clean boost and not a dirty boost, your search will end with Truetone.

Works great on bass too!

***  This used boost is in great shape and includes the original box, but feel free to ask us any questions! ***

Dimensions: 3″ x 5 11/16″ (78 x 144mm);
Current Draw: 11-17mA

JW Guitars Velvet Crush Overdrive (Used)

The Velvet Crush is a fantastic hybrid between a Pre-amp, and a "True Overdrive". It is extremely transparent and features a completely analog circuit with True-Bypass. It is completely handmade, wired, and designed in the USA. Being a pre-amp hybrid, you may utilize the features of the Velvet Crush, even with the “Gain” control set completely to zero, and still be able to vastly shape your tone.

-The “Tone” control knob features a very generous sweep, allowing you to dial in the frequency that is just right for you. -The “USA” mode is designed to give you that mid-hi pre amp style that you have come to love and expect from many of the most iconic and classic amps made   right here at home.

-The “British” mode adds a very noticeable low end growl that becomes smooth   and glassy when played clean.

Pedal Specifications

-The “Hot” and “Sweet” switch is a very subtle feature that allows you to     moderately restrain certain frequency levels to achieve the final tweak that   separates some of the greatest tube amp tones. Hot mode allows you to reach a full blown sizzling tone that will greatly accentuate those scorching solo riffs, while sweet mode catches some of that extra fuzz and turns it into a more “crunchy” tone. You will notice the response of this switch more in different pre amp modes. It is a difference that you can literally feel while playing.

This pedal was designed as an alternative to a heavily saturated market of Overdrive pedals that “Change” your sound. We wanted a pedal that literally felt like an extension of the controls on your tube amp. The Velvet Crush was the fruit of that labor. We sincerely hope you enjoy it!

Menatone None More Black Black

The Menatone None More Black is a homage to all of their favorite high gain amplifiers. Amps with very German sounding names and amps named after Big Rig fuel. While not based on any specific amp, it is an amalgam of the best aspects of many amps rolled up into one. The gain of the None More Black ranges from hot rodded 800, to crazy, in your face, all out insanity. The SUCK knob can take the mid range from all the way gone, to crazy gobs of fat, vocal, goodness, while the PRES gives total control of the high end. This deceptively simple arrangement gives a surprisingly complete control of the tonal palette.

JHS Firefly Fuzz (Used)

In 1965 a new fuzz circuit called the Sola Sound* Tone Bender MKI arrived on the booming London music scene. By 1969 several versions and variations of the Tonebender existed. It was the British engineered answer to the popular American made Gibson* Maestro Fuzz-Tone, and it delivered a lot of fuel for the British Invasion that swept over the American airwaves in the 60’s. From its inception, the Tonebender soon became a staple in the tones of some of the greatest guitarist of the era which caused many versions and copies by other companies like Vox*, Jennings*, Coloursound* and JMI* to be produced. The Firefly Fuzz is our take on delivering this classic three transistor Germanium fuzz circuit, in JHS Pedals fashion, including major improvements while caring for the details that preserve its legendary tone.

Pedal Specifications

At first glance you will see four controls, Volume, EQ, Fuzz and Bias. The Volume is your standard master volume; the Firefly has an enormous amount of headroom that allows it to be used as a boost that can hit extremely hard if needed. The EQ operates as a cut, as you rotate to the right you will remove highs and fatten the tone. The Fuzz control simply adds more distortion/fuzz making the signal dirtier. One of the major additions to this classic circuit is our Bias control knob. This allows you to fine-tune just the right amount of power to the perfectly hand-matched germanium AC128 transistors inside. The results are loud and powerful tones when rolling the Bias knob to the left and more dirty/saturated tones when rolling it to the right. This control also helps you tweak the pedal to perfection and overcome the issue of the transistors sounding different in various temperatures and environments that all Germanium Fuzz pedals are subject to. Another huge improvement over vintage Tonebender units are that we internally adjust voltage and polarity so that you can power this classic circuit on a normal 9v power supply!

The Firefly is our tribute to the Tonebender MKIII model of the late 60’s. If you are a fan of classic fuzz and the unique touch sensitivity, response and rich tone that a true Germanium fuzz offers, the Firefly is a perfect fit. This fuzz is truly a powerful and versatile piece of gear that can reach from blues to rock to heavy grinding distortion.

If you're looking for that vintage fuzz tone, the Dunlop Silicon Fuzz Face Mini Distortion Pedal is the right choice for you.

DigiTech Mosaic 12-String Effect (Used)

The DigiTech Mosaic Polyphonic 12-String Effect Pedal sets you upon the path of creating lush 12-string sounds with either 6-string electric or amplified acoustic guitars. Immediately identifiable 12-string tones are now yours with octave low strings and doubled high strings. Single notes and full chordal strums shine with polyphonic richness and celestial movement that will inspire you. The Mosaic's balanced low-end response with crisp octave shimmer produces a tone that's lush and articulate, just as with a 12-string guitar.

Gives your six-string the effect of sounding like a lush 12-string.

Tailor the Mosaic's sound with the independent Level and Tone controls. Level will control the 12-string effect intensity while Tone shapes the overall brightness of the effect. The Mosaic will give you a richer, more resonant and full tone than a standard six-string guitar. It is true bypass and uses a 9V DC power supply to easily integrate into your existing pedal board

BSM Finest Treble Booster RPA California (Used)

The BSM RPA "Major" model is the answer to many customer calls, demanding the hard, agressive Ritchie Blackmore stage sound of the 70´s, without the need to get their amp heavily modified. The RPA Major offers a lot more gain compared to the stock RPA model with tons of crunch and a higher level of agressivity ... something that fits the modern Metal scene as well.

Pedal Specifications

With the level control turned up to the max, the RPA Major delivers an output level of 8 volts (!!!), which can kill most modulation stompboxes with electronical CMOS switching like delay, chorus etc. that are connected after the RPA Major in the signal chain. So please only use the RPA Major with full level directly into your tube amp. If you want to connect some stompboxes after the RPA Major, reduce the level to 50% to be on the safe side.

J. Rockett Lemon Aid Preamp

The Lemon Aid was the most difficult pedal to name due its versatility. It is a boost pedal in essence but it also acts as a sort of preamp or frequency modifier. This pedal offers a clean, treble and full boost all in one. However, each boost position is adjustable in several aspects. You can make any one of the desired boost settings either thicker or thinner or you can cut the overall output to make the effect more subtle. The combination of all of the available settings gives you a myriad of boosts and frequency modifications. We love to use it as a lead boost for any overdrive but, on its own, you can achieve the most lush and beautiful clean tones that sustain incredibly well.

More Information

You can also run the pedal on its loudest setting and slam the front end of your amp for natural, crunchy tones. The Lemon Aid works equally well as a bass boost and an acoustic guitar preamp. This pedal will honestly improve the tones of every other overdrive pedal on your board!
