Jeremy Bryant started playing trumpet when he was 12 and never looked back. He has a passion for music education, and a desire to instill a love for music and performing in his students. He attended the University of Tennessee where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Music. While there he studied under Dr. Cathy Leach, the principal trumpet for the Knoxville Symphony orchestra. He was a member of the Pride of the Southland Marching band, the University of Tennessee Wind Ensemble, and was the principal trumpet of The University of Tennessee Symphonic Band. He also had the honor to perform with and take lessons under legendary Doc Severinson.
Jeremy truly enjoys teaching and he wants his students to experience the same joy every time they practice and perform. With 13 years of teaching experience, Jeremy believes that, by building solid fundamentals, he can help his students to be more comfortable with the practical applications of their instrument, so their focus while playing can be on making great music, rather than trying to think about the technical aspects of their craft.
